“I thought this was a really good start to the serial. Both men are clearly attracted to each other and have the same ultimate goal, but they have such polar opposite outlooks on life and how to go about things, that I can’t wait to see them navigate what’s coming. If they don’t physically kill each other first the underlying sexual tension just might do the trick! We don’t get to see them in bed, but the few memories we’re treated to and hints of some shared kinks are enough of a promise to keep me going.
Fast paced and very entertaining, the first Episode of Will & Patrick has left me wanting more. Next up, Will has to take Patrick to face the wrath of his mother.

I really enjoyed this book. Will and Patrick are a fun couple. I really appreciate the attempt at adding a medical condition to Will but the scenes with him dealing with his diabetes (is it type 1 or 2) are off. Testing blood glucose should always be done before food, most type 1’s diets are no longer the strict diabetic diet that you are currently making poor Will suffer through; insulin is needed anytime he eats anything with carbs and most T1’s take insulin either by shot 5 or 6 times a day or multiple boluses via insulin pump.
November is Diabetes Awareness month and unfortunately most people are unaware that T1 and T2 Diabetes are very different conditions and that both diseases are a real challenge to manage. Thank you for showing a strong, healthy (ish) individual trying to juggle the demands of a chronic disease among emotional upheaval. JDRF would be a good resource for you to use to improve this aspect of the story or please feel free to contact me if you would like more personal information on how this disease functions on a day to day basis.
Thanks.
Thank you, Jenn. Coincidentally, I was just this morning researching this a bit more for upcoming episodes, and I agree with you. I have actually spent the morning planning to do a little bit of revision to the prior episodes to make it work better, including the insulin shots. 😀 This is perfect timing, actually. I appreciate you commenting!! As soon I get a few things finished on this latest episode, I plan to go back in and edit a few things on the other episodes to work better. Hopefully by the end of the month, I will have revised those. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
Oh and I would absolutely love any input you might have on the already published episodes and the next one coming up. If you would be open to being of help in that regard, I’d be happy to provide you with a beta reading copy? Let me know! My email: Leta.blake.author@gmail.com
