Sparks fly in this episode of the Wake Up Married serial. Will the sexual tension between Will and Patrick finally explode in a needy night of passion? Or will they continue to deny their feelings?

Follow Will & Patrick in this fourth installment of the romantic-comedy serial, Wake Up Married, by best-selling author Leta Blake and newcomer Alice Griffiths!

Will and Patrick have embraced adding hot sexy-times to their fake marriage, but as their emotions deepen, they confront whether or not they want to be more than friends-with-benefits. Freshly free of a restrictive relationship, Will’s not ready for more than exploratory fun. And no matter how Patrick feels about Will, his own difficult past has left him wary of love.

The heat is high (and occasionally kinky) in this episode of the Wake Up Married serial, but Will and Patrick struggle to accept their mutual affection, much less confess it. How long will they fight their feelings?

Episode 4 of 6 in the Wake Up Married serial.

5 Shiny Holiday Stars to If Only In My Dreams by Keira Andrews! Yay Gay Christmas Romance! #amreading

If Only in My DreamsIf Only in My Dreams by Keira Andrews
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Truly one of my favorite holiday reads ever, I think. So friggin’ cute with a nice dollop of angst. New adult holiday romance with mixed faiths and all the best tropes: hate-to-love, road trip, “snowed in”, and reunited exes (kinda). Cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for the perfect holiday gay romance! ❤

Absolutely heartwarming holiday story, perfect for the season, and one of my personal favorite holiday books in the genre.

Can a Christmas miracle bring Nathaniel a happy ending?
Can a Christmas miracle bring Nathaniel a happy ending?

Nathaniel O’Donnelly likes his life quiet, his guests happy, and his ghosts well-behaved.

Although a boyfriend wouldn’t go amiss. Someone to share his beautiful B&B with, even if it is in the middle of nowhere and he’s long past the wrong side of thirty. Problem is, Nathaniel’s living with a ghost who thinks he’s cupid, and whose arrows fly a little too straight.

Gabriel Wickfield had the unfortunate luck of dying before his time, and now he’s stuck trying to make romance happen to earn his right to move along. Not that he’s bored in the meantime—Nathaniel is just too easy to tease. And also a little bit scrumptious…

With the curse reaching its expiration date, Gabriel needs to make a final match this Christmas. Without it, nothing but darkness awaits.

Love can conquer all, but can it beat death?

Christmas Music – Dec 19, 2014 – Happy Holidays #lovespirals #music

I was listening to this album (Ornamentals) for the first time the other day and kept thinking this was a Madonna song from the 1990s or something. I was kinda tripped out to see it was by Lovespirals and not Madonna at all. My brain has a hard time accepting that. Listen and tell me if you hear 90s Madonna, too. Or am I insane? Wait…don’t answer that! 😉

28 Days of Holiday Music: Day 3: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Back in 1998, you couldn’t find this recording very easily. It was on a UK single called Spark Pt 1 to promote the album From the Choirgirl Hotel. Back then, you had to scour CD stores for it. Now you can buy it used on Amazon for $80 or listen to it for free on YouTube, or buy the tracks for a dollar apiece as .mp3s. Oh, the life of the pre-internet music fan! I remember finding it and being so incredibly thrilled. Ah, good memories. [Edit: Further investigation shows that Amazon prices might be a bit high, since Ebay has most of these singles listed between $2.00 and $19.00 depending on various particulars of the item.]

There were two Christmas-themed b-sides on that single Purple People (Christmas in Space) and this one that I’m featuring today.

Day Three

Some music trivia for you–this recording was featured in a Roswell episode back in the day. The coolness factor of that depends on how you feel about Roswell, I suppose.

28 Days of Holiday Music: Day 2: All I Ever Get For Christmas Is Blue

From Wikipedia:

Snow Angels is the ninth studio album, and second Christmas album, by Over the Rhine, released independently in 2006. The album was released by Great Speckled Dog on October 2, 2007.

Also from Wikipedia:

Snow Angels was released ten years after the group’s first Christmas disc, 1996’s The Darkest Night of the Year. While Darkest Night was largely composed of interpretations of traditional Christmas songs, Snow Angels was almost entirely original material. The only non-original track in the album is a lounge-inspired take on “Jingle Bells” that debuted during the 2004 Christmas tour.

Day Two

And a bonus good, fresh holiday song from this album:

28 Days of Holiday Music: Day One: Hard Candy Christmas

December is a tough month for me in terms of blogging. I’m a mom who works outside of the home and writes books on the side, so I’m spread pretty thin during a regular month. Throw Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year into the mix, and I’m a goner. So, I was thinking about my blog for the month and considered taking a break for December, but decided instead that I do still want to share holiday joy with my readers.

What do I love? Music! What else do I love? Christmas and holiday music! The hubby is a bit of a scrooge when it comes to holiday music, but I’m a huge fan of it. I love both old standards and I especially love seeking out new holiday songs. So, for the next, uh, 28 days (eep! I’m late!) I’m gonna share one holiday song a day here! Hooray! Fa-la-la-la-la!

Day One

From Wikipedia:

“Hard Candy Christmas” is a song written by composer/lyricist Carol Hall for the musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

Also from Wikipedia a bit of trivia:

The Venture Bros. released a version of the song in 2005 as performed by Henchmen nos. 21 and 24 and The Monarch.

The reason for the above trivia is BECAUSE THIS SONG IS AWESOME! THE END!
